About Us

Sodbury Pavilion is a family run sports shop specialising in Cricket, Rugby, Running and Sports Teamwear.

James Rendell, former England Schoolboy cricketer who spent several seasons with Gloucestershire CCC, first opened the shop in his home town in February 2008.

After 9 successful years at Knowle Cricket Club in Bristol and a stint and Frocester Cricket Club, James is now club captain of Chipping Sodbury.

Tim Lund has had a love of running and athletics all his life and competed for Avon schools as a schoolboy. He spent several years with Bitton Road runners and has been with the Hogweed Trotters road running club in his home town of Chipping Sodbury since 2002.

Nine years ago he took up triathlon and has competed in numerous competitive events throughout the west country. Tim says "it has been a pleasure to bring my knowledge and experience into partnership with James and we are passionate about providing quality products and service to our local community and beyond"

Leighton Collins, former left arm tweaker who now opens the batting for Stroud Cricket Club, has joined us to represent Sodbury Pavilion in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. Now in the RAF, Leights has played schoolboy cricket for England, second XI games for Gloucestershire and Worcestershire and minor counties for Herefordshire.

Our aim is to provide top quality, competitively priced goods to our customers and we bend over backwards to ensure a top class service is adhered too.
